NCD Mobile Phone Survey Data Release Policy serves as a reference guide for the dissemination of survey data. If there is an existing official data release policy observed by a country, this policy will supersede the comparable elements outlined below.


Factsheet – The country fact sheet will be made available within three to six months of data collection through multiple channels such as ministries’ websites and ncdmobile.org.


Datasets – All weighted data and codebooks with the exception of any confidential or personal information will be released within six to nine months of data collection.


Data hosting – Data are country-owned and hosted at national government websites. Once the data are publicly released by national governments it will be hosted at ncdmobile.org to facilitate public use and enable cross-country comparison.


Publications – Examples of publications include country reports and peer reviewed articles. These will primarily be authored by participating countries.
